1. Develop and Implement Training Curriculum for Trainers

- Remarks: The governorates are: Sohag, Kafr El-Sheikh, Sharkia, Assiout and Damiatta.

- Outcome: Curriculum for both technical and business skills development were developed
- Development of standardized technical training curriculum
- Activity: Develop a standardized technical training curriculum for IT Clubs

- Outcome: Adoption of Microsoft Unlimited Potential as the standard technical training program for IT Clubs
- Remarks: An agreement with Microsoft to develop UP Arabic version by October 2005.
- Development of standardized business training curriculum
- Activity: Develop a standardized business training curriculum for IT Clubs
- Prime: ICTDAR and partners
- Outcome: An agreement was reached with Vergitech to develop the training material
- Remarks: The Business Skills curriculum was developed to cover courses in sales, negotiating skills, marketing, accounting and English Language.
- Provide technical assistance in the training implementation
- Activity: Recommend trainees & assess training material & program
- Prime: MCIT
- Outcome: A list of trainees was provided for each location. Training material reviewed
2. Skills Development - Institutional
- Training of Trainers on UP curricula, Business Skills Development & Microsoft Office package
- Activity: Train 98 instructors in 5 governorates
- Prime: Microsoft
- Outcome: Training completed in the 8 locations in the 5 governorates..
- Remarks: MS outsourced the training to RITSEC
- Make UP curricula available to MCIT technology clubs
- Activity: Distribute 1000 copies
